Step into a world of imagination and coastal beauty on this delightful day getaway! Our adventure begins at the stunning South Coast Botanic Garden, where you’ll experience Thomas Dambo’s TROLLS: A Field Study — a larger-than-life outdoor art exhibition featuring whimsical, towering troll sculptures crafted from reclaimed materials. As you wander the garden paths, you’ll discover these magical giants tucked among lush landscapes, creating a playful and unforgettable blend of art, nature, and storytelling. Enjoy time to stroll at your own pace, take photos with the trolls, and soak in the beauty of this 87-acre botanical oasis overlooking the Palos Verdes hills. After our garden adventure, we head to the waterfront in San Pedro for a relaxing harbor cruise with Los Angeles Maritime Institute. Sit back and enjoy refreshing ocean breezes as we glide through the scenic Port of Los Angeles. You’ll see historic ships, bustling port activity, sea lions (if we’re lucky!), and panoramic coastal views — all while learning fascinating tidbits about one of the busiest harbors in the world.
